Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Landscaping & Concrete Equipment Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating heavy equipment to support residential and commercial landscaping, hardscape, and concrete projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with excavation, grading, site preparation, and material handling while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality craftsmanship.

Duties

• Trenching
• Grading
• Backfilling
• Loading or moving materials such as soil, gravel, and concrete
• The operator will work closely with crew leaders and laborers to ensure projects are completed according to specifications and timelines.
• Performing routine equipment inspections
• Basic maintenance
• Keeping job sites clean and organized
• Adherence to safety standards, company procedures, and job site regulations is required at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating excavators, skid steers, and front-end loaders in landscaping, concrete, or construction environments.
• A strong understanding of grading, excavation techniques, and job site safety is essential.
• The ability to read site plans, follow instructions, and work efficiently as part of a team is required.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary, and a CDL is a plus.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform labor-related tasks is required.

Preferred Skills

Experience in concrete preparation, forming, or pouring is preferred. Knowledge of underground utilities, drainage systems, and hardscape installation is a plus. Candidates with strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive work ethic will thrive in this role.

Pay Rate

The pay rate is between $35 – $50 per hour. Compensation is based on experience.
