We had a great experience with Black Pearl. They efficiently removed an old patio and deck, replacing it with a new modern stamped concrete patio. All the drainage work. Along with a beautiful retaining wall. The sales person/landscape professional was very helpful and patient in working with us to determine a design and cost effective plan suited for our very specific family needs. It was very clear that the crew had many years of complex construction experience. Job was supposed to take two weeks. Was done in nine days. There were many items they could have charged extra for, many unforeseen items came up. Black Pearl just did the work, we were going to agree on a price for all the extra work. They just told us to keep them in mind for any future work. What more can a person say about this company. All actions. Not talk and sales.

Black Pearl Landscaping and Concrete Services just finished our total home refresh. New 2800 sq ft concrete driveway, 1900 stamped concrete patio, fire pit, new flower beds and new drainage. Our home does not even look like the same house. It’s remarkably beautiful. Black Pearl staff was so great to work with. Never any wasted time with the company. They go way above and beyond what we have ever encountered. I would consider myself as someone not easy to please. However, we could not find one negative thing with Black Pearl. I don’t give many reviews. I felt I had to give these guys the credit they deserved. They were not the lowest bid. Not the highest bid. But we felt after meeting with Todd, that he was about as transparent as a person could be. It was a major and substantial sum of money we spent. And I have to say, best investment I’ve ever made.

Great work! We had such a Steep back yard we were Quoted very high prices at first by other companies until we found black Pearl and boy did they pull it off we were impressed to say the least! At our home in Brighton, MI Black Pearl just finished our 3000 sq ft stamped concrete driveway plus 2000 more sq ft all the way to the road we also did the front walkway and it looks awesome. They used a Roman slate pattern with a charcoal onyx color blend and it looks sharp and modern and honestly adds a ton of curb appeal. Their communication was great they texted updates explained the curing process and made sure we understood every step. The crew was super clean and professional they kept tools organized washed down the driveway edges and left the whole area spotless. The finished product is basically flawless and we’re really impressed with the detail they put into it.

This company poured me a huge 3,000 square foot concrete stamped patio in Milford, MI, and I’m very pleased with how it looks. I picked a rustic slate stamp in canyon brown, and it came out way nicer than I expected. The whole backyard feels completely different now, like an actual place I want to hang out instead of just dirt and grass. They also installed 800 feet of drainage into some beautiful trenches they dug by hand and machine, and it finally fixed all the water problems I kept dealing with. Having this Great Lakes Stone patio honestly feels like bringing a piece of up north right into my backyard here in Howell. The stone style reminds me of the places I used to go when I lived farther north, the lakes, the trails, the quiet spots with big rocks and open space. Now I’ve got a 2,500 sqft patio that gives me that same feeling every time I step outside. The Slate Smoke release adds just enough depth to make it feel natural, almost like something youd see near the shoreline.
